Danner Named Dranesville District's Lady Fairfax

In June, 2008, Dranesville Supervisor John Foust named Pamela Beck Danner as Lady Fairfax. This tradition, begun in 1984, recognizes outstanding citizens of Fairfax County who have demonstrated exceptional volunteering, heroism, or other special accomplishments. Supervisor Foust said he chose Danner as his Lady Fairfax for her long resume of involvement in the local community, as well as her 12 years on the County Water Authority Board, where she served as the board's secretary and as chair of its Water Quality Committee. "She's been involved in just about every organization of importance in McLean, " said Foust.
