Federal Regulatory and Land Use

Danner & Associates handles a wide variety of matters involving housing, regulatory and land use issues.  Ms. Danner has an extensive practice before the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in the areas of manufactured housing, interstate land sales registration, new product acceptance and administrative hearing matters.  Danner & Associates also assists clients in a wide range of FHA insured financing program issues, from rulemaking activities to assistance with packaging a project for a loan.

The housing regulatory practice encompasses representation of clients on legislative matters and before agencies including the Veterans Administration, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Federal Trade Commission and the Farmers Home Administration.  In its representation of one client, the firm conducted a survey and presented its findings to the EPA regarding a housing indoor air quality issue.

In the area of land use, Ms. Danner has published and maintained, through periodic updates, a Manufactured Housing Land Use Bibliography of federal and state land use cases, as well as a State Manufactured Housing Legislative Survey.

Ms. Danner also represents trade associations and other entities on various zoning issues and has represented clients before the Department of Energy regarding its energy standards in the commercial and residential areas.
